The Get To Know Me Tag: Writer's Edition (ie me rambling about myself)

Hey guys! I have been tagged with the Get to Know Me tag! *throws confetti everywhere*
Thank you, Andrea @ Spaceships, Vampires, and Very Secret Agents! Go check out her blog if you haven't already.. it's awesome! >w<

Le rules:

link back to the person who created the tag -
- thank the person who tagged you - (thanks again Andrea!)
- share the tag graphic (optional, optional! I know it won't go with everyone's blog design) -
- tag eleven bloggers –

Vital stats / Appearance

(Pen) Name: I go by a whole host of internet names (is it just me?) but my real name is Isabella. Or Jeanne (my pen name).

Nicknames: Most people call me Bella. Which is cool, I guess, but I actually prefer to be called Isabella, for some reason.. I just like it more somehow? You guys can call me either XD

Birthday: 16th July (>^w^)>

Hair color and length: Light brown, and it's cut just above my shoulders.

Eye color: Brown (or black in some lights).

Braces/piercings/tattoos/ect: I have turquoise glasses (which I hope to exchange for contacts soon!) and my ears are pierced. I got them when I was eight.. I wanted dragonfly earrings.. that was pretty much the only reason. Now I just wear a simple silver ring in them.

Righty or lefty: Righty

Ethnicity: Caucasian (half Aussie, half American).

Firsts

First novel written: ..none? I suck at writing novels, they just end up as short stories or novelettes...

First novel completed: Again, none. Unfortunately.

Award for writing: I got an honourable mention for a Shakespearean sonnet I wrote.. only five people entered. Oh well. Here it is, if you want to read it:

Some friends you've known since both of you were small
even if you both have not hung out heaps
you both talk like no time was lost at all
a friendship that you will forever keep

Some people you will meet and then forget
the friends who never will be close, although
they're friends that quickly make you laugh, but yet
to break it down, the friends you don't quite know

Then one day you might find a special friend
a friend who's right there for you all the time
a friendship you forever should defend
for true friends come only once a lifetime

Yes, friendship's sometimes quite hard to defend
but it is always worth it in the end

First publication: ..if only

Conference: Never been to one, sadly.

Query/Pitch: Maybe if I actually finished something worth publishing?

Favourites

Novel (that you wrote): Wordmist (it's only a short story but it's the closest thing I have...)

Genre: Fantasy! And fanfiction of course.

Author: I have to choose?!? Oh, okay. Probably Cornelia Funke. I LOVE her books! Especially the Inkheart series. (I'm sorry Tolkien you came very close.)

Writing Music: For the cute scenes, La Da Dee nightcore. It's very inspiring (especially for Ladynoir!) Also, Owl City. A lot of Owl City. And Imagine Dragons.

Time To Write: In the evening, when everyone is normally going to sleep. Because I'm a weird night owl.

Writing Snack/Drink: Fruit, or brownies. Or seaweed crackers. And hot chocolate is good as well. (I have a secret recipe.)

Movie:
LORD OF THE RINGS forever and ever this will always be my favourite.

Writing Memory: The first time I tried writing fanfiction. I just sat on a bench and just wrote and wrote and wrote and it was awesome.

Childhood Book: Princess Academy, by Shannon Hale. I still love it. I got it for my eigth birthday and I still have the same copy. My mum loves it too.

Currently

Reading:
A Rose for the Anzac Boys by Jackie French. She's an amazing writer! <3

Writing: You guys know this one already. ;)

Listening to:
An artist named Meri Amber. My favourite songs are "Not Gonna Be Me" and "Beat The Game". I don't normally listen to pop.. but her songs are so great. Very geeky too.

Watching: MIRACULOUS SIMPLY THE BEST UP TO THE TEST WHEN THINGS GO WRONG!
Apart from that, I'm also watching an anime called Fruits Basket. I read the manga and it was great, and the anime's almost as good.

Learning: How to self-direct my learning more. Because at the moment I'm just following directions and yeah.

Future

Want To Be Published: IF ONLY

Indie or Traditional: Possibly indie.. but idk because I haven't looked into it at all, really.

Wildest Goal: To be as good as Tolkien. Or better (wait no that's impossible).

Wait.. is that all? *checks in corners for any hidden questions*
Finished! Wow, that was quicker than I thought. Now to tag other awesome people:

And I'm sorry but I don't know anyone else that hasn't been tagged with this already. Feel free to steal this tag if you like (>^w^)>

So.. what about you guys? What's YOUR wildest dream!
Stay Miraculous!

And yay, a fellow Princess Academy fan! Have you read the Books of Bayern (also by Shannon Hale)? They're almost as good.. if not better. They're kinda set in the same universe, just on different continents or something idk.
